Intelligent Front-Lighting System

This Genesis safety feature allows the driver to travel in the vehicle with an always-on high beam without risk of glaring at oncoming traffic or any preceding vehicles. This function is achieved using LEDs with individual electronic control which are turned up or dimmed down as required.

10 Airbag System

The front center side airbag of this 10-Airbag System prevents and reduces injuries caused by mutual collisions between passengers and collisions with interior components in the event of a side collision. A total of 10 airbags, including front advanced airbags, front and rear side and curtain airbags, and driver knee airbags, will help keep all passengers safer.

Safe Exit Assist

When the vehicle is stopped, the radar detects vehicles or motorcycles approaching from the blind spot and keeps the child locks on the rear seats to ensure safety when leaving the vehicle. It also warns to help passengers get off safely.

Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA)

BCA is reinforced with a new function that assists in collision avoidance through differential braking when the risks of collision with a car of blind spots during lane changes. In addition, it is safer by adding a function to prevent collision by braking in case of risk of collision with the rear side vehicle while moving forward in parallel parking.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

When the system detects a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle while reversing, a warning will be displayed on the display along with a beeping sound. If the risk of a collision increases after this initial warning, the system will automatically initiate the brakes.

Junction Crossing

When a risk of collision with a vehicle/pedestrian/bicycle occupant ahead is detected, it warns the driver and, if necessary, initiates the brakes to avoid collision. In addition, it automatically assists in braking when there is a risk of colliding with oncoming vehicles from the left and right sides of an intersection.

Lane Change

The system assists in collision avoidance through steering control in case of danger of collision with vehicle on the opposite side or side approaching vehicles in lane change and departure.

Evasive Steering Assist

Comprehensive analysis of omnidirectional sensor information to assist in collision avoidance through steering when judging the risk of collision with a vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist in the lane.
