Genesis Fully Electric Models
In today’s automotive market, consumers are presented with alternative options to traditional gasoline models, including plug-in hybrid, and fully electric vehicles. Genesis has never sold a hybrid model. The brand has focused on combustion- powered cars and EVs since its launch less than 10 years ago.
Fully Electric Vehicles (EVs): EVs are powered solely by electricity, with no internal combustion engine. They rely entirely on rechargeable batteries to propel the vehicle, offering zero tailpipe emissions and a quiet, smooth driving experience. EVs and BEVs (battery electric vehicles) are one and the same. Neither makes use of an internal combustion engine because both are fully electrified. Although Genesis EV models can self-charge slightly through regenerative braking, this action only prolongs battery life – it doesn’t recharge the battery fully. External charging at home or a public charging station will always be required.
